Cityscapes
One of my favourite views was overlooking the water towers of New York from my loft window in lower Manhattan. The changing lights of different times and seasons always seduced me. The water towers became a fixation. I created a perfume bottle based on the water tower. A New York perfume that evokes the energy of the city. “A bit of New York in every drop”.
I would wander the city capturing cityscapes featuring the towers.
Then on assignment for Donna Karan to introduce her brand, we decided to create Scapes of various aspects of NY to depict its energy. It was a fantastic way to introduce her to NY and taking possession of the city as a branding tool. Later, when she had developed more internationally, we did the same in Paris.
